In collaboration with longtime partner, Foot Locker, Nike hosted an internal event to mark the grand reopening of the Foot Locker store in New York City. The event served as a key moment to reintroduce the brand’s relationship internally, emphasizing their shared commitment to innovation, style, and the New York City community. To support this, Nike sought cohesive brand and graphic design elements to kick off the reopening experience and equip Foot Locker associates with the necessary tools to present the Fall 2024 product lineup. They turned to KP Creative Consulting for a comprehensive graphic design and brand implementation experience.

Phase one:

fall 2024 product catalog

The first objective focused on designing a custom product catalog for Foot Locker employees. This catalog included detailed Fall 2024 release specs and was intended to function as an easy-to-navigate, visually appealing reference guide. The design needed to reflect Nike’s brand identity while also being practical and informative for the team. By providing a comprehensive resource that was both functional and aligned with the brand's aesthetics, the catalog aimed to equip Foot Locker employees with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively present the upcoming product lineup ahead of the store reopening.

The custom product catalog proved to be an essential tool for Foot Locker employees, fulfilling its purpose as a practical and visually appealing reference guide. The catalog’s design, which carefully balanced functionality with Nike’s strong brand identity, detailed Fall 2024 release specs were clearly presented, making the catalog easy to navigate and use. Phase two:

CUSTOM ANIMATED GRAPHIC ACTIVATION

The second objective was to design 11 custom, high resolution, animated graphics for display within Nike's NYHQ office during the New York City Foot Locker store reopening event. These animations were designed to capture the energetic essence of Nike, Foot Locker, and New York City, serving as dynamic visual elements that would welcome Nike employees and Foot Locker associates into the space. The goal was to create an immersive and engaging environment that resonated with attendees, reinforcing the brand's identity and the significance of the collaboration between Nike and Foot Locker.

The custom animated graphics exceeded expectations, emerging as a defining element of the Nike | Foot Locker NYC store reopening event. Each of the 11 animations was meticulously crafted to embody the dynamic energy and core identity of both brands, seamlessly integrating into the event's energetics and atmosphere. The strategic placement of these animations throughout Nike's NYHQ office created a visually immersive environment that captivated attendees and sustained their engagement throughout the event.
